My drawings are always telling a story, but in an irresolvable sense. I often depict repeated perspectives, gestures, and objects as a way to create dialogue among my subjects, and to suggest emotional resonances and impulses underlying the static forms.

I am drawn towards implicit symbols and cues that reveal the ambiguities of existing in the world, and allow a meditation upon the interplay between intimacy and alienation, and interior and exterior modes of perception.
