University of Saskatchewan Stop Motion Camp

A test animation I made for a stop motion camp I ran through the Aspiring Young Artists Program at the University of Saskatchewan. The students, ranging in ages from 10 to 13, produced a diverse range of shorts using a variety of techniques: from quick 2-D paper cutout and chalkboard experiments to more sustained projects with storylines, sets, and puppets. To make their projects, the artists used free apps on their own smart phones and an array of recycled and found materials. See some of the students’ projects at http://bit.ly/2qcyXqx
